Terms of Use
Last updated: July 19, 2026
By using the Guiotech site or the AI Learn platform you agree to these terms. Please read them, especially the payment, refund and content-use rules.
1. Who we are
Guiotech is the technology brand of João Guioto, publishing editorial content, providing consulting and development services, and offering online courses on the AI Learn platform.
2. Student account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- Access uses a magic link sent to your email. Keep your inbox secure: whoever reaches it reaches your account.
- Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Do not share access; unusual simultaneous use may lead to suspension.
- You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to contato@guiotech.com.
3. Free and paid courses
The platform has both free and paid courses. Price, content and length are those shown on the course page at the time of purchase.
Courses evolve: we may fix, update and add lessons. If a course is discontinued, existing buyers keep the access they purchased.
4. Payment
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Course access is granted once the payment is confirmed by the provider.
- Prices are in Brazilian reais unless the course page states otherwise.
- Invoices are issued by the Guiotech legal entity.
5. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, you may withdraw from the purchase within 7 calendar days of buying and receive a full refund.
To exercise it, write to contato@guiotech.com with your account email and the course. The refund goes back through the original payment method and course access ends.
After 7 days, refunds are assessed case by case, for example when a technical failure prevents using the course.
6. Content use and downloads
- Course content (videos, texts, materials and exercises) is protected by copyright and licensed to you for personal, non-exclusive use.
- You may not redistribute, resell, publish, share credentials or use the content to train AI models.
- Where downloading is allowed, it exists for offline study and is capped per lesson. We log date, IP and browser for each download.
- Using tools to capture or bypass video protection breaches these terms and leads to account termination without refund.
7. Certificate
A certificate is issued once you complete the required lessons and reach the course's minimum score. It attests completion on this platform and carries a public verification code.
It is not an accredited degree and grants no professional registration.
8. AI features
The platform offers AI study features such as summaries, answers about a lesson and revision material. These features can produce inaccurate information.
Treat them as support: where they disagree with the lesson material, the lesson prevails. Nothing an AI feature outputs is professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
To keep the service sustainable there are per-student usage limits. Automated or abusive use of these features may be blocked.
9. Expected conduct
- Do not attempt to reach restricted areas, other students' accounts or platform data.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape automatically or deliberately overload the service.
- Do not post illegal or offensive content, or content infringing third-party rights, in open fields of the platform.
10. Editorial content and affiliate links
Articles and reviews reflect our opinion at publication time and may contain affiliate links, always disclosed. Earning a commission does not change our assessment. Recommendations are informational and the purchase decision is yours.
11. Availability and limitation of liability
We work to keep the platform available and secure, but the service is provided as is, and interruptions may happen for maintenance or third-party failure.
We are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the content. Nothing here removes consumer rights granted by Brazilian law.
12. Changes and jurisdiction
We may change these terms; relevant changes will be announced on the site and, for students, by email. Continued use after notice means acceptance.
These terms are governed by Brazilian law, with the consumer's domicile as the elected venue for disputes.
